Moorabbin is gone.
Still think Junction Oval is the go.
I have not been out that way for a long time, so could anything be improved out at waverley? I still believe getting rid of it was one of the worst decisions made by the AFL. It gave them a big bargaining stick over the MCC and now the difficult Docklands

Waverly Park is all houses now - except for part of the granstand and the ground.

Bloody expensive houses too :?

But the ground is still there, & I am assuming that is part of the members stand.... I take it parking would now be the problem???

The ground and the members grandstand are used by Hawthorn but is surrounded by houses. It's all a new estate out there. And yes, def nowhere to park. Unless you park in somone's driveway :P

How could you have a boutique at Moorabbin when the fashion model has gone and joined Collingwood.

The Men's Toilets at Moorabbin could definitely be retained at boutique. What an experience

I would imagine the grounds closer to the City, like Princes & Victoria Park, WEstern Oval etc, would have more appeal than Moorabin.

Sounds like Joni Mitchell

"a boutique, and a swingin' hot spot"

or more to the point ...

"you don't know what you got till it's gone"

And it is gone.
Thanks again to Kingston, Rod and Archie.

Princess park is being re-developed for footy.

Moorabin will be a housing development around a park in 5 years.

Surely you should pick it up. By the way there is no way any ex AFL ground will again hold AFL footy. Not Carlton, Moorabbin, Corio, Arden st or Brunswick Oval. Those days are gone just like hot pies and cold beer.

Trust me, it's not a matter of picking up on anything, you are just very predictable...

I was agreeing with Con that I believe Princes park will be the likely location.

I always thought it was Ponces Park. Maybe it was all the ponces.
