Correct, Armo missed most of the pre season.saintbrat wrote:Pretty sure it was armo that Ross mentioned yesterday/ last week as having done a hamsrting during or prior to season starting.Armoooo wrote:I can't allow myself to get too excitied, I remember last season when there were some Pre Season pics going around and Armo looked like he was just about the most cut player in the league...
I need to see some form on the field first...
But i am expecting 25 games from Armo in 2010...

From memory he was having a good pre-season but did his hammy in the NAB Cup game against Brisbane and then did it again against Richmond in the practice game up at Shepparton. In the end it just put him behind the eight ball and by the time he was up and running, so was the team.

Haha, yes I did. There was a story behind that but not going to get into it. As I said before, when he is finishing 4th in the team come round 1 is when it will count. Ross Lyon has said all players have come back to Pre season in good shape. Sounds promising for next year to me.dalboy wrote:Isn't DWOODROW the one who wrongly stated Armo had a broken collarbone during the season???
Hope he did finish 4th in time trial.

Yeah I'm a big fan of Geary and Steven, they both have exactly what RL loves, aggression and tackling abilities, they can both also kick a goal and use the ball well, alongside Armitage they will all make the grade... we have some very exciting youth coming through...matrixcutter wrote:armo and gears are the two i really want to see cement spots
geary i liked since the first time i saw him, just need a few more kilos
armo reminds me of Sammy H in a way.
goes in, goes in hard, seems to have a decent footy brain and flies the flag
hoping BOTH make the cut this year
