$22,727.27 Incl GST? !!

Post: # 862157Post Eastern »

That is what Collingwood will be paying Luke Ball per game in 2010 & 2011.

That is assuming that he plays 22 games per year !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

That's more than $1,000 per possession.
.
.
.
And he still gets that even if it is a turnover.

I want more money.

But you can't even kick a footy.

I want more money.

O.K. the fans are dumb enough to pay it.

It is interesting, he was one of the highest paid footballers in the league, and could well retire up there with one of the best $ per game...

 man's gotta know where he's coming from. man's gotta remind himself every day. man knows he's gotta be tough. man needs ink done. i suggest that he start with the right shoulder and work out. make it look tough and hard. make it purple and make it red. throw some blue in there and some yellow and some green and some orange. all the colours of the rainbow i say. pass the gay test! and a big black skull, that'll look good in five years time.

Not sure if this is correct but I've heard that Collingwood could have actually agreed to pay him a lessor amount...for example $350 000 however the full $500 000 has to be declared in the clubs salary cap.

yeah i would agree that they wouldn't be paying him 500k. but our list evolved beyond him. he couldn't keep up fact. we needed speed we got speed. we needed a forty meter kick (x3) and we got it. we couldn't afford to hold onto guys who cant run and/or kick it 25m. we did remarkably well this trade period. rid ourselves of some old wood. when you're a winner everyone wants to be party to it. the way that i see it we lost clarke maguire and ball and gained lovett peake and smith. fair play matty drain!

at an average estimated value per possession of 27c he would need to have 84,175.0740741 touches a game to turn a profit.

Collingwood are paying him 500k over 2 years. Chances are that 3rd year he'll be playing for 100k.

1 million over 2 years becomes 1.1 million over 3.

Thats the way to rig the draft.

There is also a chance his body may be finished by then, they are not going to preserve him....

Maybe he will flip burgers.

Or work for an airline.

Or Mr Symonds might find a role for him.

Or maybe he can flip burgers for Mr Symonds when he flies a certain airline. Triple threat.

That would be worth a $150K per annum.

Maybe he will do a Ben Cousins in Round 1?

Doubt it Cousins is a machine he put in more effort in that game then the rest of his team combined.

not at punt road the other day when i was watching.
the only guy who was truly A-grade was Lids.
you could see Cuz visably scratching his head and wondering how he ever became involved with such a bunch of Nahas's.
was spraying them everywhere. just doesn't care. has lost the magical kick. is getting old. is the oldest player at the club i believe.
he along with newman have just given up. they are a mess.

When did this site become so nasty and vindictive?

Maybe it's time I took a break because seriously, I can't stand the tripe that is being written of late.
