Channel Seven and New Idea will be REVEALING that the AFL will be introducing a rule for 2010 which allows any player within cooee of goal to simply hand it to a teammate who is a better shot for goal. This will be known as the "Saints who missed every possible shot for goal to lose the 2009 Flag" rule. Ergo, the move to recruit Nick Davis. It is rumored that Peter Hudson is also in line for a call up. Moves are also afoot to dig up Dave McNamara.

A few months ago id have said hell yeah. one of the best kicks for goal ive ever seen.

but with lovey and peake now on the list.. im thinking NO... we can't have too many old loose guys... we will end up like the french foreign legion...

Can't ever remember Davis making a tackle. Puts him out of 2010 calculations IMO.
Maybe he's only being added to the coaching stable. Kicking coach perhaps ?
