Just when you thought you may be over it....
I just heard on the radio that bloody Holy Grail song
I used to love that song, but since our loss, it holds a different meaning to me.
The whole time the song was playing, I was reliving that day
Not sad anymore, just angry......and ready to go again.

The first I heard it at GF was before the (im almost certain) 98 one..was just Mark Seymour and guitar on a podium..no band..worked well.BringBackMadDog wrote:I'm absolutely positive that the Hunters played that bloody song before the 97 GF as well, can anyone confirm this???
The only song that sticks in my mind from 97 was Greg Champion debuting his "Saints are on their way" song during the Coodabeens live show from the 3AW tent..which, although I agree his lyrics can be a bit hokey at times, contained this classic verse...
Up and then down..
Year out, year in..
But the army of fans..
they just keep hangin in'..
Theyve taken enough..
they're long overdue..
C'mon Saints..
Go get flag number two!!
*Cue massive roar at that last line*
Played it a few times leading up to GF week this year....that verse always sends a tingle up the spine..well it will til we win flag No 2!!!!!
THE BUBBLE HAS BURST
