No, I think he is 30 and will be 31 next season[/quote]

correct..

but makes no diff at all to how i'd like him at st.kilda!
look at other players picked up in psd and tell me how many are/were better than cousins!

There is a place there for him, perfect for us and him.

damn us for beating the pies in the semi!!!

well if noone wants to pick him up due to the placement of lists he could fall through

him going to brisbane is an intruging one...i really doubt voss would be into it but obviously is all things considered

i would crack the s***s hearing and seeing him every week of the bloody season up here if that turned out to be the case

I still can't believe we didn't get him last year.

Due diligence?

Pffft.

I don't even want to contemplate how Ben would have used the ball on Grand Final day under pressure :(

Still, he turned his life around, we made a grand final, so I guess everything worked out ok.

But you can't help but wonder...

We missed out on a GOLDEN, GOLDEN opportunity last year. I'd be happy if we had a crack at him again, but I don't see it happening.

It's easy to say that with the hindsight that we would have still been as a good a team as we were this year HAD we recruited Cousins.

We'll never know but never under-estimate just what one individual can do to an entire team, directly or in-directly. I think the individual performance of Cousins alone this year has somewhat over-shadowed just how disappointing Richmond were, when this year was finally supposed to be the year of the Tiges return to finals contention. Good, young list, finished the previous season strongly, Richo in career best form and then along came Cousins, how could they fail? Success should have just fallen into place?

It's only my theory but I do think that the recruitment of Cousins put a few members of the Richmond playing group into a false sense of security, arguably the supporters as well; the mass hysteria at club training, the opportunity to join in team photos at the price of gold and the amount of memberships sold may support that theory.

That being said, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I wonder how much game time he would have got.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

And whether being asked to play to the team's gameplan could make his relationship with Ross untenable.

Or how he would feel if we asked him to play for more money than he was offered elsewhere.

Did you think about that everton? Did you?
