Can things get any worse...

Post: # 843246Post SaintHomer »

I've finally got the courage to expose myself to footy news, notes and quotes, despite still licking my wounds from a heart breaking grand final loss.. only to now find we are potentially going to lose one of my favourite sainters in Luke Ball.

3 weeks ago, a win over the doggies in the prelim, i was flying and on top of the world.

now...

footy sucks mate, why do we all love it so much.

talk to you all in march... i might be ok by then...

SH.
he doesn't want to go to collingwood it just needs to be presented in such a way that if carlton decided to take him the shock is proliferated.

he's up for trade yes, but not to collingwood.
leon davis is up for trade aswell, but do you think he'll go west. no.

clubs need to present prospective tradees in such a way that it is not done in a linear order.

relax man, he's not going to collingwood.

are you being sarcastic?

luke ball does not want to go to collingwood. no-one wants to go to collingwood.

you cant say in business what you want. if in business you say what you really want ppl tell you to get f***ed.

he's on the trade table and so is leon davis and so is darren jolly.
all three (the ruckman, the midfielder and the small forward) have been made eligible for the same position +/- draftpicks.

with all due respect, i think you may have missed the point of my thread. i'm shattered to not just lose the grand final, but now to lose one of our favourite sons as well.

yeah, it really sinks the boots in that it potentially is the filth, but i just can't believe we could lose him. his grand final was fantastic and i thought the turning point for him. he will be cherry ripe next year.

but call me a romantic old fool...

No sarcasm but usually the nominated clubs have the upper hand...
Jolly and Ball will more than likely end up at the filth....
Dumb assumption nobody wants to play for filth when obviously they do good facilities and etc... i don't know what you're basing that on..

Above that, high rotations and softer MCG surface would be factor...

Softer in the head as well.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell
