Geezus. Where did that one come from. Anyway, I thought that 1st & 2nd year players were off limits; or has that changed too? !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Never were off limits Eastern, they can be traded away or delisted after their first season. But very very rare to do so.

And technically if a player is within contract such as Lynch they have no say in the trade.

Unless the club has quickly realised that Lynch is a spud (which he isn't), it would be an absolute disgrace to trade him.

Very similar to what Carlton did when they went after Judd.

Mind you, given the recent trade, it's the Eagles who might be laughing sooner than Carlton.

Latest trade rumours i've heard:

Collingwood have offered Luke Ball $500,000.

Lovett to St.Kilda for pick 16.

I'm interested to see how accurate my source is, they seem to think this is legit.

I wonder if someone will emerge out of left field in the race for Burgoyne, Lovett, Fev and Ball etc.

With fev no one is going to show their hand this early as it gives the blues a great bargaining position.

Still think Sydney for him TBH.

Burgoyne will go to Essendon, gut feel.

yeah I'm thinking that Burgoyne will lob at the bombers.

Lovett to Freo in a three way :P

Freo are looking to trade reasonably heavily apparently. Their muppet coach thinks he can trade his way to a good list.

IF WE GOT LOVETT THAT WOULD FREE UP BJ TO PLAY FORWARD AND WE ALSO GET SOME PACE, I WOULD BE VERY HAPPY TO TRADE PICK 16 FOR HIM

Agree. But if Lovett is to come to us, what's in for th Bummers? Ball to the filth? Not Fraser... pleeeeassee. Collingwood are cr@p to trade with.

Fev to Sydney.

Going by previous years, we'll only trade if it's good value.. nothoing outrageous.

Give Port pick 15/16 (?) and Ball for Burgoyne. Port would do it as payback to Burgoyne for leaving.

I think we will trade our 3rd rounder for Peake, and that will be all she wrote as far as we are concerned

Obviously Lovett is the better player, but i think our 3rd rounder is practicly useless, so Peake would come alot cheaper. I would prefer the Peake option i think

so you wouldn't do a 2nd rounder and a player for Lovett?

I hope we don't get Peake. He is one of those players that the fans want delisted during the year saying they'll be lucky to get anything. Then when another club is interested in trade week suddenly he's worth a 3rd round pick
