I hate this weekend
The first one after the Grand Final, no real worthwhile sport to watch, no saints, no football, it is such a bore.
Unfortunately, my plans would have been to watch the game over again tomorrow afternoon, but the result was as we all know.
Just have to see what's on One to see if any Baseball, College Football over the weekend.
Anyone else suffering withdrawal symptons?

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

It's s***.
Stupid f****** nags getting their arses flogged (or not) and tarty birds in bloody ridiculous headwear followed by a test series against Windies C-grade, Punter taking himself too seriously, and a million pointless one dayers and Tony Greig and Bill Lawry making godawful arseholes of themselves or that galoot on ABC (name escapes me, but he's far too bloody serious, looks like a complete nerd) and that grade A kiddy fiddler Roebuck spewing his ant-Australian diatribe on the back page of the Age all summer...
Aaarrgggghhhh
Thank christ I surf.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I'll probably watch it if I'm home because it's sport but couldn't give a toss about it really.saintspremiers wrote:The Storm are on the box Sunday arvo trying to win the Bum Sniffing flag.....issue is: can I sit through 80 minutes of Rugger?
Nothing worse than interstate band-wagoners who jump on just because it's a Melboune team (aka Swan supporters)

The Tiger and the Lion may be more powerful, but the Wolf does not perform in the circus.

thats always a good watch, see some up and comers, some mid list players giving it their all, and usually a couple of 'stars' going round.SainterK wrote:Let's aim for the intraclub match as the start of our season, that's usually Feb sometime....that's not so far away?
this year i sat near Danny Frawley, me and my friend were trying to bluetooth him some weird video, so we could see his reaction.
but she said he kept denying the connection, damn spud.
