Are we a year behind Geelong....
Maybe 2.
I look at their defence - Scarlet, Enright, Harley in particular and compare to our...Dawson, Fisher, Gilbert.....we are much younger and less experienced..
Their mids are still young - but if you take out Hayes/Ling....so are we....
Our fwds - Roo/Kosi are probably in theor prime while Mooney is older and Hawkins a kid. Again, excleude Milnes age for Chapman......we match up age wise reasonably close (I think Schneider is 23?)
Rucks we are older......but ayoung McEvoy next season will assist that...
Overall experience we are definately behind them and I cant help but feel that "gap" they had in 07 (when they were streets ahead) has been severely chopped in 09...to the point where their games against us and Dogs are probably 50/50...
Question is - how much improvement do we have in us?
Do we have enough to surge ahead again next season to the point where its obvious even Geelong will struggle tohold us? (for 3 qtrs saturday I thought they did....).
I know the Dogs got "up" for th prelim...but we beat them 4 times in 09 including pre-season.
Is this yr 1 of our time?

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Well, if we win the flag next year then yes we are.

I'd say about two flags behind.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

They have a few boys that are older and are arguably just as important as the 2001 brigade. Scarlett, Harley, Enright, Corey, Milburn are the backbone of their defence and are all in the 28+ category.
These blokes have mature bodies and mature minds and are a large part of their success. For mine, there's no doubt we are a year or two behind.
