The GF sprint is on youtube as well as some highlights of him.

Basketball background.

He reminds me of Kirk Tippett, with pace.

Amazing running ability for a 200cm bloke.

Anyone care to offer more details of his year, skills...

That's the first I've seen of him. A bit to like so far. :D

He is very skillful for a big bloke can take a mark, and obviously run like a hare, but what i like about him the most is he has a fair bit of mongrel about him. He plays the game very aggressively and loves to tackle bump and hurt a bloke. I think he is better suited as a key forward than a ruckman

Maybe our future rucks will be Stanley and McGrath. Stanley was 200cm when we picked him up at 17 yrs of age. Looks at least as tall as King now.

maybe any of the above.

if his form is good enough we should consider any of the possibilities to give him games next season.

no-one i can think of that height can run like that.

plus he has ball skills, too, from what i've seen so he is more than merely an athlete.

I have him in front of McEvoy as a ruck prospect now.

There's a lot of Dustin Fletcher about him

mcevoy's stronger bodied at the moment and is going to be a good player, too.

i just think we shouldn't necessarily pigeonhole stanley as ruck only, because that will limit the chances of getting games into a very good prospect.

Surely winning a GF sprint means he'll make AA next year.

Hmmm, interesting...

BTW, what's with the brushing aside of Ben on this thread anyhow? I thought he had a terrific year?

this video was probably posted when we drafted him........but on reflection the kid can do more than run fast. I know it's SANFL or SA Juniors, but compare him to KnickNak, who has almost zero footy skills.

I haven't seen much of what he looks like since we drafted him, but he certainly looks a lot more ripped now, which you'd expect after a year or so.

An exciting prospect with speed like that :D
