been a bit of talk about knights form crows wanting to become a saint has anyone herd this and have any info?

Haven't heard anything on this side, very good player though and definately a big part of the Crows' future plans...would be very surprised, as I could imagine it would be a relatively high profile trade.

Have heard he wants to return to Victoria, but he wont leave until next years trade period...

I think it was the Ox or Gerard Healy discussing it the other morning on SEN

Yes the rumour for some time has been that he wants to return to Victoria and will do so when his contract finishes, which is at the end of next year, if he cannot get released before.

So it would be possible that he could be traded this year when the Crows have the whip hand....whereas next year their bargaining position would not be as strong.

Not having a go at you '37', but why does "wants to return to Victoria" always seem to translate to "wants to play for St Kilda"? Surely Carlton would come wading in and offer him a job in a box factory for $500k before we'd had a chance to see how many players we would need to swap for him?

Probably cos he has been a saints fan all his life!! Maybe he has told someone "I'd love to come back and play for the Saints" !!??

Has he? Well, it would certainly be refreshing for someone to come to us for a change...gawd knows we've never been able to use father-son to our advantage.

What about other players who were Saint supporters, Salopek, Suban and Hurley, why not chase them as well

Can someone tell me who this guy is, cant remember him, dont watch throws games and at this point I dont want to remember anything

Personally, I think they're all in the 'forget it' catagory for one reason or another...but I have been surprised in the past (not hard when you don't work for the club, I guess).

I know a little bit about this topic. Chris Knights won't be leaving Adelaide footy club in the short-medium term. He grew up a Demons fan (both his brothers are saints fans). He is currently at home (Wantirna) spending some time with his family. He will be returning to Adelaide for their B & F at the weekend !!
