I love St Kilda Football Club so much it hurts
And today it hurts more than it ever has before.
Just a gut wrenching, hollow, blank feeling, that I don't feel I could explain to anyone who doesn't support this football club.
Kept it together ok yesterday.
But this morning, waking up and seeing images like these, it really hit home...
That picture of Roo and Kosi is going to be etched into my memory forever, or until it's replaced by one of Roo lifting the cup.
Thanks for a fantastic year Saints.
If i feel like this, I can't believe to imagine how you're all feeling.
Through all the pain though, feeling incredibly proud of the boys today.

I wished I hadn't looked at those photos.
I have never left a StK game before the end, including 71 and 97.
But as Rooke took that mark I started gathering my things, then heard the siren, but never looked up to see him kick it or see the suffering of our players.
I just turned and walked out.
Feel ashamed I didn't stay for the post siren stuff but I just felt so frustrated and almost ill.
I just had to get out of there.
Seeing those photos made me glad I left.
I don't think I could have coped with that.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

It is interesting you say we chocked. Had a discussion last night with a guy who said we chocked because we missed easy shots at goal. I said we didnt choke but just kicked poorly. Which way is it.
Those photos are killers after the game I couldn't even look up, too many tears looked up once to the big screen to see Lenny on the ground crying, gut wrenching made me cry more. Going to etihad today made me feel better though to see all the other saints supporters around and hear how much the boys want to win the premiership for us.

Hope you are right TSG...The only way they can erase the pain for themselves and us...TazzieSaintGirl83 wrote:Those photos just wrench the heart, I bleed red, white and black and it tears me up to see the boys that way.
All I can hope is they can turn the pain to determination
Go you Sainters!
is a flag and soon
Nothing less
