Feeling shattered all morning....
My 3 year old son - who made the journey with me to melbourne and stayed with his grandparents while I went to the game - came up to me this morning gave me a massive hug (no comprehension of what has happened) and then cracks me up as he starts jumping on a whoopie cushion that one of his Uncles got him at the show.
I realised in that moment that life was full of so many incredible things nothing more so than the innocence of a 3 year old child playing with a whoopie cushion.
Yeah, it hurts. But jeeez I still have my boy and his amazing mum and my wonderful family and friends....
For that I am the luckiest person on Earth no matter what happened yesterday.
