And he lacks pace and he struggles when the ball is below his knees. Not the answer.

Our forward efficiency, poise and goal spread has let us down in the finals.

We need to recruit a Motlop /Jurrah type/(like a Winmar type) - a clever/dangerous medium sized goal kicking forward who can instinctively create space and read the ball coming into the forward 50.

Gwilt doesn't fit the bill.

i know they don't grow on trees - but we better start shaking a few trees to see if there's a couple of likely ones hiding somewhere.

I'd trade all our picks and tradeable players to get such a medium sized goal kicking forward plus a fast, gut running line breaking midfielder with poise - if I can dream.

I think Gwilt has composure, something that seems underated, but would have been extremely valuable yesterday. The kid believes that when he kicks the ball, it's going to go through the big sticks...
