Why is losing last year a bigger incentive for them?

Post: # 833052Post linz »

FCS why should they be hungrier than us because they lost last year. We haven't won for 43 years.

This crap about meeting them when they're on a so called mission of redemption is giving me the runs.

They won 2 years ago and it's our turn so sod off Geelong.

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

Yep, exactly what I have been thinking. All this crap about how they would've learnt their lesson last year and how now they are hungrier than before...

One of them was quoted as saying "it's only a game" - I hope they all have this attitude.

The pain of regret is far greater than the pain of hard work.

Because both supporters and players would be devasted if we lost tomorrow. Of course we would want redemption as both players and supporters believe that we should take what is rightfully ours

Our players weren't around 43 years ago. The premiership drought does not affect the players as much as it effects us supporters.

The question is, who is hungrier?

They, after defeat in last season's grand final?

Or us, having never tasted success?

Always thought the fact that if players say that the home and away season doesn't count in september, then why should the past 3 seasons matter in september ?

No, the truth is: WE MEET EACH OTHER ON EQUAL TERMS"
We have nothing less or more to play for than Geelong.

We might not get another chance for a decade
: "so we've got to take it."
