just a thought.
what rain does is it keeps the mood under control.
the more rain the better. the cats' skills will disappear faster than a lead turd in the wet.

dont agree. ablett and chapman with their bald heads will feel wetter than a nun on a butcher.mad saint guy wrote:You don't think that perhaps it will suit the hard bodies of Ablett, Bartel, Ling, Chapman etc and lessen the effectiveness of Roo and Kosi?

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Sure he does. Whatever talks his team up. The fact of the matter is, our high pressure stop start defense won't be affected as much as their flashy keepings off play on at all costs defense. Their tall forwards will be just as disadvantaged as ours, luckily we're not carrying a couple players with soft tissue injuries.chook23 wrote:Ablett must want saints to win then!!!!!

He is praying for as much rain as possible!!!
they do have some mudlarks........just hope we deny them
We've done everything tough this year, hopefully we grind them into the mud on our way to claiming the cup tomorrow.

Like anything could lessen the effectiveness of our boys right now, don't be silly...mad saint guy wrote:You don't think that perhaps it will suit the hard bodies of Ablett, Bartel, Ling, Chapman etc and lessen the effectiveness of Roo and Kosi?

bit wet and slippery, I reckon favours cats (like last year). They can still flick it round and use their skills, which I do think in the midfield are a bit superior to ours.
However a heavy track will help us no end .Roo is a great wet weather player, and it will suit our shut down style of play. Ball will be elevated from a good ordinary player to a huge impact player. Lenny is Lenny. Goddard will still kick accurately over 60 metres. Our rucks are superior, which will help with the stoppages.
Lets face it, the Cats usually play witches hats at home (Melbourne, Richmond, Freo). All this talk that they play in these conditions and are therefore advantaged is rubbish. In my opinion if they try to play against us with the same run and carry that they use in the wet against the worst teams in the comp on their own dung heap, we will smash them.
More and more confident with each drop of rain!
