as I am short, back in 1997 I arrived around 2 hours before the gates open and people were already lining up at the gates....
If you are short, I would be there BEFORE the gates open....

It depends on how long it takes them to say the first six letters of the alphabet!plugger66 wrote:I have got 2 tickets for some family members but they have to stand. Any ideas on time they should get to the G.

The best idea is to hire someone who has been doing his bit to save Melbourne's water supplies for the last fifteen years. Someone like the guy who got on my train the other night. He goes in with the ticket early ( $20 should be enough), and stakes out the territory, although marks out the territory might be a more apt description. Somewhat surprisingly there is plenty of room around him. Then, as the anthem plays, he ducks out - gets a pass out, hands it to your relative, who dashes in - and with lashes pre spayed 4711- occupies the spot. Dead easy!
Ive had some advice from some Hawks fans who did standing room last year. It varies but generally speaking it appears that anadvance party when the gates open is OK...but the rest of your group to arrive with the next couple of hours of so..that should ensure you a spot at the front

Got a ticket for eveyone that wanted one. Didnt need as many as 1997. I think we have got 10 all up but 6 of those were members so that is no big deal.Bernard Shakey wrote:How many tickets you got all up plugger?plugger66 wrote:I have got 2 tickets for some family members but they have to stand.
