Cats are so cocky they are making a banner with a podium already installed. Old Bobby Davis is going to Hi5 the players as they run through and Cowboy Neale will coathanger each one of them as they come down the other side

That may be a good thing. We can loll them in to a false sense of security and then pull their pants down on the big stage to expose those pussies.SaintDebi wrote:"One team town" syndrome. The local paper is ALWAYS full of the Cats. You would think they were the only team to ever take the field. They believe thier own press.
Hang on, that came out strange

So funny. Had a cats ring SEN last night asking the guys why the cat's aren't shorter in the odds. Some said "should be even money" and he was like give me that bookie any day.
You clowns are playing a side that has produced one of the greatest individual seasons of all time so far, has lost two games by 7 points total, conceded less points then any team in history, beat a far better side then geelong did last week in a game played at perfect finals intensity, oh and beat the cats last time.
All of a sudden it's "Johnson got through, rooke got through so we are 100% fit without a problem in the world" Well keep thinking that Catters, if you honestly believe you are a miles better side then St.Kilda then get ready for a dam rude awakening.

Oh, Milan. You made me laugh out loud! (and I don't just mean "Lol", I really did laugh!)Milan Faletic wrote:That may be a good thing. Sick of their attitude...I am not sick of Pies supporters saying that we will get smashed... I enjoy a good laugh.
I said one of the greatest....which is exactly right.StSteven wrote:I think you meant "The Geelong Ablettiser"
I would go easy on claiming our season was that good. They won more H&A games than we did. Last year they only lost 1 game but then lost the Granny.
the only 2 better statistically were geelong last year and bombers 2000.
So one of the greatest home and away seasons ever.

Damn straight - they developed a Scum like arrogance very rapidly after 07 and can't wait for them to be shown up!Milan Faletic wrote:That may be a good thing. Fully agree MF - there's nothing to put a smile on the dial quite like a bunch of exposed pussies, I mean..........., well, you know what I mean.

Many of us have an idea of what is about to happen... what's great is that they seem to have no idea.
They only beat the dogs by 7 points more than us in a higher scoring game (10 more goals kicked), and finished off an already spent collingwood... they are about to come up against the most miserly defence in history, with several of their players who surely aren't 100% match fit... and remember the last time we played it took them months to recover.
I cant wait to see our boys play knowing that there is no next week... I think we're about to see something very great.

Yep, they are less than even money, currently $1.59 (Saints $2.40) and have been since the book opened after the Cats win. Someone don't understand odds!HarveysDeciple wrote:So funny. Even money would be $2.00 ie bet a dollar to win a dollar. Won't happen whilst bookies are around, unless the other team is $1.80 (beware the mask!).
Unbiased? No such paper.Mr Magic wrote:How's the unbiased coverage in teh Geelong Advertiser this week?SaintDebi wrote:"One team town" syndrome. The local paper is ALWAYS full of the Cats. You would think they were the only team to ever take the field. They believe thier own press.
Getting much info on the Saints?
At least we've rated a mention this week, but the way they see it, we may as well not bother to turn up.
