Seems like a great kid and gives his all but his best doesnt stack up to the players sitting on the sidelines.

If he plays he will be a liability might as well go in with 21 players.
but in saying that i hope he proves me wrong.
i say no change because he is giving 100% and doing his role for us.

IMO, stats mean nothing in relation to his role. many of the things he does will not get on the official stats like:

forward pressure/harrassing
sheperd
bump
coverage of players

yes, tackles are part of it but if he attempts a tackle and it doesn't stick, he might not get credited with the tackle but it's done its job.

for my mind, no change (although i think geary is desperately unlucky but you can't bring him in at this late a stage IMO).

Eddy's game against the Dogs was not the best.

But posters are wrong in bagging his Pies game. He kept Maxwell out of the game.

Agreed Armitage was awarded best on ground against Hawthorn by the umpires.
That was a tough match with heaps of tackling.
Armitage lead the way with tackles.
We need to upset Geelong with tackle pressure.
Tackle pressure to destroy their confidence and game plan.

i just don't think they can bring in the likes of geary or armitage at this late stage, as there is too big a chance of them being overawed. i'm not saying they would be overawed, but the risk is there. i love the way both these guys play and i hope they have long careers with the saints.

if they do drop eddy (which i doubt), it would have to be for the likes of dempster who has big stage experience.
