Another plea to buy/swap tickets
I was allocated 2 x standing room tickets in M13.
Don't get me wrong, I am terribly grateful to get any type of ticket and will be there cheering my heart out no matter what.
My concern is with my Mum. She has severe knee issues and will be unable to stand for long periods of time. She is also 4 foot nothing, which won't help in the viewing department. Like other pleas, she can provide medical evidence etc etc. We have also been told that she will be unable to bring in her walking frame (the one with the seat) in with her. So standing room is quite literally that.
I would love to be able to buy/swap both tickets, but if there is only 1 on offer that would be fantastic as well.
Willing to pay and all that jazz.
Please PM me.
Thanks in advance and GO SAINTS!!!

Not being disrespectful maxstar, but why did you choose the standing if available if you knew there were going to be issues?
Our group had standing issues also, so we opted out of the standing room, but were fortunate enough anyway to get good seats.
Had we missed out, I'd have been disappointed but we were prepared as a group (Fortius Quo Fidelius) to watch it elsewhere and celebrate with others on Saturday night or Sunday.

Here is some info regarding disability seating at the MCG, its worth a shot i reckon

I understand why people would be thinking that and perhaps it is a lesson learnt on our part.Iceman234 wrote:Not being disrespectful maxstar, but why did you choose the standing if available if you knew there were going to be issues?

At the time I selected Best Available for a number of reasons:
1. At least we had a ticket.
2. Was given the impression that SC would get a seat.
3. My Mum's knee wasn't as bad a few weeks ago.
4. We wanted to be there to witness some history and be apart of it all.
Like I said earlier, we are happy and grateful to have the tickets and we will go no matter what. Totally understand why ppl would be questioning me and I don't actually expect anyone to make me an offer.
Was just something I thought I would put out there seen as a number of other people are doing it as well.
Fair enough and thanks for the reply maxstar.
I just found there were a lot of threads/posts the last 24 hours requesting "special consideration" when those members knew well in advance that there were elderly, invalid or too young in their group when selecting their options.
Cheers and go Saints, wherever we are.
