Good article in my opinion, with some very valid points!
I remember clearly how many points Geelong won over Collingwood in their 07 Premiership season - 5 points!
Port Adelaide smashed the Kangaroos 20.13.133 to 5.16.46 and got thumped in the Grand Final! By 119 points!
As quoted in this article, sometimes the best placed team to go into a Grand Final is the one that had to play the hardest road in the Prelim! The Dogs, if anything, will spark us into top gear!

Did we get more out of our prelim than Geelong got out of theirs? Yes
After half time Geelong just had a practise game ....leading to their fans becoming confident.
The Saints had a good hard run against strong opposition .....probably do them a world of good... esp if no injuries.
The two Prelims were totally different.
Our boys will be under no misaprehensions about the GF. To Ross its another week , another game
