Early forecast...50km winds / possible hail

Post: # 826178Post Foz »

Forecast for Saturday
Cloudy. Scattered showers with local hail or thunder possible. Winds west to northwesterly averaging up to 55 km/h tending west to southwesterly up to 50 km/h during the afternoon.

CityWindy. Showers.Min9Max15

I know its Spring, I know its long-range but Lukey Ball could be slotting em from the 60 down breeze! Potential interesting twist to the game.

Wind will not favour any end of the MCG because it is completely enclosed by the stands.
It will however swirl around a lot inside there, makes for a tough in close game.
Of course, that is the long range forcast, weather is highly unpredictable, may be different by the time Saturday comes.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Geelong are wet weather experts, particulary Bartel.

In theory it should suit us,but it doesn't against Geelong.

In theory this should suit Geelong however our pressuring ability in the wet should be of benefit to us

It is then up to our players to have better skills and to think it through when having the football

IMO..forecasts for Melbourne Weather beyond 4 days in advance are rarely accurate.

Check out the forecasts Tues/weds..till then disregard.

Spot on. I travelled to Nth Qld earlier this year. Kept an eye on the long range forecast, which was terrible. By the time we got there, barely a cloud in the sky all week.

DONT take any notice of weather forecasters more than 2-3 days out. They work on models that rely on average outcomes. Doesnt always work out, believe me.
