Yep very prophetic comment from Commetti, something like he's been down all day leave him alone, your just asking for him to come good.mullet wrote:If they want to blame someone blame that wonderful player Brian Lake. Runs away from his own player to elbow rooey and we get a free and goal. Memo went out that that would be free kicked. What a dunce
As Dennis just said he uncorked the genie

Footy Gods smiled on us tonight!

I don't think we had much luck at all. For almost the entire game, smothers, richochets, loose balls etc etc all seemed to land in Bulldogs hands. Monty's shot in the first quarter bounced backwards on the goal line allowing Lake to force it through.
Next week we will get all the bounces - it's our turn

Yeah, it seemed all the 50/50's were going the Bulldogs way. Especially in the beginning.1965 Saint wrote:I don't think we had much luck at all. As someone famous once said "Whatever"!
We are in the GF, they aren't.
Blame 10 years of fruitless Doggie searching for a key forward.
Actually I apologise, they did find a key forward, Welsh is his name, I think he was playing half back flank.
