The kitchen sink has been thrown at us, still only 2 kicks in it.

C'mon Saints show authority now.

So glad I listened on radio. TV coverage now on but there's no way I'm watching that boring 1st q. Considering Roo, Kosi, Milne and Schneider haven't kicked a goal we're lucky to be in it. LIFT BOYS! LIFT!! RUN OF THEIR LEGS IN 2nd HALF

A better quarter that time but more needed
With it being such a low scoring game goals are an absloute must!

EADE is all over LYON...

Post: # 823160Post WinnersOnly »

EADE has got the match ups perfect and is the Dogs a playing a style of game that cuts through our defence. We are being beaten to the ball and most occasions and find ourselves very lucky we are only 7 points down at half time.

Hopefully LYON can turn them around at the break and have us play a stronger attack on the ball. Show some ticker and aggression. Move GODDARD on to the ball and forward....

Give MILNE and SCHNEIDER a serve...

DAWSON to fullforward (no match up down back) terrible selection in hindsight. KOSI to CHF and run up the ground.

Must keep cool but still attack when have the balll.....

We're playing crap but still are there abouts.
Missing set shots hasn't helped.

Hope Hayes corky isn't too bad... that's all we needed.

Dal started with a twisted ankle, so that rumour had to be right too.

I know you largely make your own luck, but it would be good if lady luck doesn't work against us for once at this critical stage of the year.

I'm still cautiously confident - we're coming back and we have a lot of upside.

The best thing going for the Saints is Dermie is still on the Bulldogs bandwagon on SEN.

Our midfield was much better in the second quarter. Lenny was great, Gram, Joey and CJ all doing well

BJ is not a defender. Zac is looking a bit lost. Chips, Gilbert, Raph and Bakes are holding it together. Bakes is doing a great job on Aker.

Our forwards are not stopping the Bulldogs run. Schneider and Milne are not contributing. Eddy is not doing much. Riewoldt definitely isn't right.

The dodgy umpiring decisions have gone our way so far.

The Dogs generally finish strongly. We are definitely in trouble, but are not gone yet

come on boys!![/u]

Comeon passengers tackle hard at least (fairly of course) - even risk getting rubbed out if needs be.

But, they're not kicking them either, which is good. Doggies still don't have a key fwd. So here's hoping.

Workrate must lift across the board.

It comes down to one of two things. We either take one hand off our throat, or put the other one their as well. No other option. To lose this game we'd have to choke on our own. You don't finish 20-2 and lose a prelim. Enough said. Hopefully it's the former.
