Having resigned myself to having to watch the game on TV, I'm still devastated at not being at the G tomorrow night.
However, trying to look on the bright side and put a positive spin on things, it occurred to me that I have been at all those recent prelims that we have lost.
Conversely, maybe NOT being there this time will mean we win. If so, I'm prepared to take the bullet for the club.
So after we win our berth in the big game, remember that its cos I wasn't there!

Thanks snoopygirl. Each time I think of us not being there it nearly brings me to tears, but make no mistake: my heart will be there with our boys, our supporters, and all of you- my SS "family".

Those of us who are lucky enough to work Mon-Fri and live within easy travelling of ES/MCG..should never take that for granted

Blake, Dal Santo, Goddard, Hayes, Milne and Riewoldt were all at the last three prelims and they will all be there tomorrow night. Should I be worried?

Just realised I wasn't at the last three either. In Sydney for the first two and then had a wedding last year. Robert Murphy's dad was the celebrant! I was at the 97 one though!
