Luke Darcy has no idea of being impartial

This bloke has now forged a media career on TV and Radio and should be a lot less bias to his old club the Bulldogs. He is forever defending and raving on about their "tremendously" talented players and how they are primed to get into the GF this year and win it if they bring their "A" game. I have listened to him call Doggies games on Channel 10 this year and he is amazingly one eyed. When the Bulldogs are losing his enthusiasm changes markedly and even struggles to make a positive comment on the opposition. When they are winning you literally can't shut him up and his excitement parallel's a kid in a toy store. Again, he picked against the Saints on his "One week at a time" show tonight and did not make ONE positive comment on the Saints.

I am so looking forward to our clearly better team smashing them on Friday night and then listening to him eat his words during next week's review.

....but if Nathan Burke or Stewie had one nice thing to say about the Bulldogs then he'd be eaten alive on here for being disloyal..

The trick is not to expect balanced comments from somone who played a billion games with one of the competing sides...esp in a final

Worse commentator than Steve Robilliard (the only other male netball commentator I've eve heard of).

That is fine - at least unlike some ( Tim Lane) he does not try to hide this bias.

I love Luke Darcy, he is biased but apart from that I reakon he knows what he's talking about, I find him very saints friendly he was the only one sticking up for us when we lost those 2 games Walls and Quartermain aren't much better for there sides

Made me laugh tonight when he said about Anthony 'you don't cry, it's not the grand final' I've been waiting for someone to say that since the game.

Visited my son's school the week before he got injured. Nice bloke on all accounts. Has a good footy brain IMO.

pretty good ATM...

Darcy is harmless enough, quite a few ums and ahs that can get annoying.

Darcy played for the Bulldogs for over 10 yrs. His opinion is just that and it won't influence the result. It's not gospel. I think he's a reasonable comentator who's getting caught up in his love of the Dogs. So what, we're accused likewise except we go for the Saints, and if he's gay that's great and if he's a rich gay then that'd be even better for him, although I don't understand the connection betwen a male grooming business and his sexuality.
