Tickets sales for Friday night better then cats v pies ?
Seems weird but going by this it looks to be true
Friday's first preliminary final featuring minor premier St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs has 22,000 tickets left, including standing room, while 27,500 tickets remain for Saturday night's second preliminary final between Geelong and Collingwood.

You have to realise these are the figures for the general public. They do not include MCC or AFL members so it would actually be possible to get 55000 at a game and it could be sold out. Not likely of course.StSteven wrote:also it wsa absolute crap information last week. AFL announced similar amounts available for both matches but the number there was very low on Friday night.

Must get in if you've got a "season ticket", I don't think so.Richter wrote:What does "the season ticket" game mean please?saint66au wrote:We are the season ticket game..

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell
MCC General admission and visitors tickets were sold out by lunch time for Pies v Cats. Visitors tickets still readily available for Saints v Dogs.
There are nowhere near as many Dogs fans as there are supporters for Pies and Cats. The Saturday night game will be close to a sell out IMO.
Hope to see Saints fans out in force and extremely vocal as they were 2 weeks ago. It should be a sea of red, white and black on Friday night.

It's actually a "series" ticket, not a season ticket.Richter wrote:What does "the season ticket" game mean please?saint66au wrote:We are the season ticket game..

Basically they get you into one designated game at the MCG for each week of the finals.
On that note, does anybody know if/when these actually go on sale each year?
