Kosi
i have been watching the replay, noticed how Kosi was moving up and down the ground alot more in this game then at other times.
Thought he had a very good game against collingwood. Hope it continues.

That aspect was pleasing, I agree. I would like to see him kick some of those goals though. It's too much to expect Roo to kick a winning score off his own boot.
Interesting that Roo seems to be kicking better for goal at the G than at Jihad. Kosi not... so far

I think he should do that teeth/glove thing that Quentin Lynch does before shooting. That gives me the irrits and it might rile opposition supporters. I am always happy to do that.ohwhenthesaints! wrote:I still think it's the glove!

He missed a few easy ones against the Demons too. I hope you're right, he's a killer when he's on fire.gosainters66 wrote:he had 1 bad day at goal kicking , i think his goal kicking has been pretty good this year just wait till next week hell kick a bag

Re: Kosi
Think he is a lot better when on the move. I don't reckon he is all that fast initially when on the lead, but when he can have a big run and jump at the ball, he is a lot more effective.saintly wrote:i have been watching the replay, noticed how Kosi was moving up and down the ground alot more in this game then at other times.

Outside fifty. No problems.
Inside fifty - 50-50 chance at best
Needs to pull the finger out. This is finals football and Kosi needs to become the man. Roo will be two/three teamed and some one else needs to be the go to man.
Can Kosi do it ?
I'm not convinced.

Probably needs to get rid of the glove and grow up.jk23 wrote:He must need to have the glove on , he even wears it at training....ohwhenthesaints! wrote:That's what I have been saying, it must be OK to come off now?borderbarry wrote:How long ago did he injure his hand? He split the webbing 5 or 6 weeks ago. He's just looking for an excuse.

Always hard to tell the context of posts when not spoken but written, but I have to ask Bernard, 'Are you serious??'Bernard Shakey wrote:Probably needs to get rid of the glove and grow up.jk23 wrote:He must need to have the glove on , he even wears it at training....ohwhenthesaints! wrote:That's what I have been saying, it must be OK to come off now?borderbarry wrote:How long ago did he injure his hand? You really don't like him much do you? He did still manage to kick 2 crucial goals and be very much a presence down fwd. His role is very important, b/c if nothing else it ensures that the opposition can't all zone off onto Roo. Kosi being such a strong contested grab, means that backs need to get back in numbers to spoil him.
Did Kosi date your daughter or something Bernard and things didn't pan out?
Just so ppl are clear, if Kosi, Roo, the midfield, our small fwds, are all going to have a day out we will win the GF by 20 goals. Would be nice, but sadly each week there's some pretty handy opposition we are encountering. I thought they all did their bit last weekend, they can't all star...
One of the most ridiculous comments you've ever made.Bernard Shakey wrote:Probably needs to get rid of the glove and grow up.jk23 wrote:He must need to have the glove on , he even wears it at training....ohwhenthesaints! wrote:That's what I have been saying, it must be OK to come off now?borderbarry wrote:How long ago did he injure his hand? You weak, weak man.
Hilarious BS, hilarious.
If anyone needs to grow up Bernard....Bernard Shakey wrote:Probably needs to get rid of the glove and grow up.jk23 wrote:He must need to have the glove on , he even wears it at training....ohwhenthesaints! wrote:That's what I have been saying, it must be OK to come off now?borderbarry wrote:How long ago did he injure his hand? Kosi has been great this year and is a major component of our forward line and prospects of winning the grand final.Moods wrote:Always hard to tell the context of posts when not spoken but written, but I have to ask Bernard, 'Are you serious??'Bernard Shakey wrote:Probably needs to get rid of the glove and grow up.jk23 wrote:He must need to have the glove on , he even wears it at training....ohwhenthesaints! wrote:That's what I have been saying, it must be OK to come off now?borderbarry wrote:How long ago did he injure his hand? I have not criticised his game last week at all.
I just find the glove a tad pretentious, a la Quinten Lynch. I just hope the glove is not becoming Kosi's security blanket.

I agree Bernard, you didn't critisize Kosi's game. But the condescending tone of your post suggests you aren't happy with him. If he had kicked 6 goals last week would you care whether he wore a glove.
And BTW - who cares if the glove is a security blanket. If it makes him feel comfortable, so what? Most strapping is just that - a security blanket. I recall being told that most strapping is useful for about 20 minutes of a game, and after that it's there for psychological benefits only. The person who told me was a leader in the field of sports science and heavily involved in professional sport.

reinwoldt had strapping on shoulder for a year, after he did his shoulder, then he stated that he rweeally hadn't needed it, after he became full time captain, took it off, and stopped using it as security aspect.Moods wrote:I agree Bernard, you didn't critisize Kosi's game.
