saints interest in Brad fisher

Post: # 817463Post saintly »

from the australian.

sorry no link is up as yet. but in the aritcle it was disccussing a number of players who was wanting to be traded or to stay

and Brad fisher was interested in being traded with 2 clubs looking at him, one being the saints.

remember last year, where lots of players had links to the saints only nathan carroll tried out, and we didn't pick him.

the saints do need a third forward.

and oh, carlton says they that they are prepared to pay part of the cost. unless that bit was about Tuck from richmond wanting to leave.

Was the same story last year.

I think I'd rather develop young Lynch into the medium forward role.

I would absolutely spew if we pick that hack up. He is an OK mark but a shocking kick. If we recruited him to be the whipping boy that would be acceptable. I will be posting venom every week.

Christ - Mc.Mahon and Fisher

... Oh and he should have a shave and a haircut.

actually fisher might be a good fit, certainly more so than some other rumors.

So far we are going to get

Fisher
Spanher
McHon
Peake
Tarrant

From trades apparantly  Someone must be telling some fibs I think.

I like your way of thinking. I suspect/hope Lynchy's development will step up in 2010 with him playing 1-12 senior games !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

If we want to build on our run of 12 straight against Carlton, our main interest in Brad Fisher should be to ensure that he stays exactly where he is, along with the rest of them (eg Ryan Houlihan) who get it and kick it straight to the opposition.

Some of the names floating around are still kids, and maybe have further development in them....similar to Ray.

The Saints 3 or 4 times have tried to get Fisher going back to GT's days even.

I like him, but the person who mentioned Lynch in this thread has a good point and that's the way I'm leaning as well.

I dont think Fisher is a bad one to look at - he is perfectly suited as a third forward and a great mark. The mozz on him is his kicking for goals and work when not in possession - however, he did improve this this year, and i feel a coach like Ross may be able to get more out of him. I'd be all for it, assuming that he wouldnt come too expensively!

S Burgoyne on the other hand! YES PLEASE!!

The only players mentioned as a possible trades that I would give up the 1st round pick for are Salopek & Pearce. Otherwise hold on to it and get the next best available kid, I'm sure we'll have a list of about half a dozen that will still be available come our turn.

Agree on both counts.
