Because we have the week off - a public service announcement

Post: # 816637Post widereceiver »

The word definitely is spelled D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y
Not definately

Not defiantly

Not definatly

Not definitly

Not definetly

Not defineatly

Not definantly

Not definitley

Not defenitely

Not definatley

Again, the correct spelling of definitely is D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y

Think of it as finite... with de at the beginning and ly at the end.

Thank you

Without doubt the hardest word in the world to spell. If I got a $ for each time I got stumped on it I'd be a rich man

Go Sainters.

We will definitely win on 26 September and I will be playing 4 wide receivers in my round one NFL team, commencing Friday our time.

A somewhat Grant Thomas approach to gridiron, Bernard - entertaining, flashy but easy to defend against!

I'm amazed at how often people get those two mixed up.

With the possibility of our first Premiership in 43 years just around the corner, don't you think there are more important things to talk about?

eg. bias / biased

I am biased NOT I am bias.

I don't have any trouble with that word when I regularly use it.

The one I have difficulty with is antidisestablishmentarianism.

I've noticed an alarming amount of he's/his lately...

They're completely different words, not even variations of each other!

"He's ball skills are terrible."

"What do you mean, his definitely got to be in the side!"

I see there a few STS sufferers.
Imagine my concern and dismay when I discover some people are bored of Ross Lyon's game plan.

The only problem with going straight to the prelim is there is no Saints game this weekend. I am bored of that.

Idle minds, Fawlty!

I am glad, I am sad.

Red fish, blue fish.
One wish, two wish.
Sandilands gets the boot.
That would be a hoot.
It won't be a drag
When we snag the flag...

How about "separate"? Definitely up there with "definite".

I note that the MCG scoreboard had "seperate" in one announcement on the weekend.

Whilst spellcheckers do not pick up incorrect grammar or wrong words spelled correctly (my usual mistake is form for from), they will pick up howlers.
