does that mean someone else has used my barcode
yep
there is only one other person who knows it......surely he didnt use it
Might be good to check - or perhaps someone has keyed in an incorrect barcode that just happned to be yours Try again maybe, call your friend and then call the club would be my suggestion...

It is on home page. It will probably log you out when you go to home page but click on saints logo and log in again.
I found it really nerve racking, easy but was shite scared of making a mistake
I just found the registration icon. It turns out that you must have your location fixed to Victoria/Tasmania. If you have your location fixed to any other state or territory the GF registration link won't appear.
Its really strange how we register with ticketmaster but pick up tickets from ticketek. You would think they would keep it to the one provider. Why would they do this, wouldnt ticketek deal with the registration process
bob id get that sorted out
basically he used your number without permission
not very nice imo
and on the standing room thingy
if the afl pulls tickets off both clubs allocation of 11500 and u havent ticked best avl INCLUDING standing room and ya one of the last ones picked out and theres standing room onl7y left...guess what????
ya'll be watching it on the tv

That is odd.
It's idiotic that they only give you guys a 7 hour window to register.....considering it's random, why not a couple of days, or at least 24 hours?
It's not like the internet closes down overnight!
Not really fair for those that might suddenly get ill today/something important comes up unexpectatly
It doesn't effect me being an MCC member with a seat obtained already from the ballot....so I'm unbiased.

After registering it makes sense why we only have a window til 3pm as at 4pm what they are calling priority 2 members get the chance to register. I guess these are members who will go into the pool for sc members who dont register. I think it is fair that they only give a few hour, I mean really do you want to go or not and they gave us plenty of warning on what to do. But I reckon alot of people may get caught out with the ticketmaster , ticketek thing. I just would have assumed one provider would be responsible for the whole finals ticket system.
I guess my biggest concern is how one company is going to communicate our registrations to another company.
Still I am not complaining, it beats sleeping out (although loved that when I was a kid) or as in 1997 getting up at 3am and going down the club on a rumour that there were still tickets available and then swapping sc cards in the carpark with complete strangers (1997)
if the afl wants to they could pull say 100 seats off both clubs allocations of 11500...making it 11400 each
those 100 seats from each club are turned into lardy dar corporate/sponsor seats/whatever and now there is 200 standing room only tickets (100 for each club)
if you have ticked no standing room on your reg, and ya one of the last names pulled out and theres only standing room left.....guess what??
u wont be getting in will ya
now they say it wont happen becasue roughly 1% of social club members never go anyway, (for wgatever reason....and this is where the extras go to September Sainters)
all im saying is what if nearly ALL 11500 members register AND the afl decides to pull some tickets back for sponsors/toffs/whoever AND you didnt say u were willing to stand???
i am not willing to take the risk...no matter how minimal it is

Matrix - sorry to say - but if I ended up with standing room only - I would be 3 inches shorter at the end of the game for I would have a 9 yo sitting on my shoulders for the whole game - so if I dont get a seat then my 2.5 metre screen is actually the preferred option!

Who confirmed this??
I confirmed all what Matrix is saying with the Club last week.
He is correct.
Let's just hope we all get seats.
In fact, let's first make it before we worry about seats.

so intially the 11,500 are seats but could change?
hahahah
i give up
its been discussed and discussed and explained time after time again
by more than one person in here over the course of a week and a bit
the 11500 are seats
but the afl can do what they like.
it aint gonna happen, basically because not all 11500 members will go anyway, so IF the afl pull seats off of each team and theres stranding room only left it would MORE THAN LIKELY be the September Sainters that get them (if they agreed to the standing room option)

correct chook
look imagine if it was collingwood v essendon
the corporate interest would be huge so the afl can AND WILL IF THEY WANT pull some tickets off the teams give them to corporate and then those (i dunno, say 100 tickets from each club) are now standing room
ther was a link in one of the earlier threads last week on GF tickets where i quote from the afl site
it actually says as a social club member you qre guarenteed a TICKET
it says nothing about a SEAT....and thats why
