Would we take him? At the right price. Hell yeah. Outside speedster. Just what we need.

I wouldn't. Has shown no heart for Freo.

he never lived up to the early hype....

probably overrated on the basis his old man could play a bit..

someone was hoping for a son of a gun.....

The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.

Only 22 (i think) quick kicking can be a worry worth a look

If Fremantle got rid of him...

To be honest, when I've seen Freo games I think of him as a good ordinary player. Whether he could turn it around for another club, who knows.

But as mentioned above, I'd be more interested in looking at some of the Port Power Clearance Sale talent before the Fremantle rejects.

His kicking is ordinary. I think there was one game where he had 10 kicks and 9 were ineffective and led to turnovers. Speed is one thing but if you turn it over constantly it's not that valuable.

You're very right

He is a spud and would not be in our top 25, or even 30. Wouldnt bother - draft a kid instead

There aren't a whole lot of spots on our list. It would have to be a special player or talent for us to add somebody. Peake isn't special in any way. I'd rather keep Leigh Fisher.

Yeah nah pleasing positive

I reckon he has talent, but has underachieved. He would be worth it if we can get him for very little. A lot of Freo players have gone to other clubs and done well.

Underachiever is an apt description. 27 next year - GOP at best. No thanks.

A definate NO from me. Likes a drink apparently. When he made his debut I thought he would mature into a really good player. Unfortunately I think he might have thought the same without the required work.

true. but freo arent a real football team so not fair to judge on that. phar lap probably wouldnt have shown heart if they dressed him in a fre jumper. one of those things.

Ebert the only one worth a look as we need an extra goal-kicking mid size player, and I reckon RL could get him working the right way for us, otherwise keep developing Geary and Steven

two worries with ebert:
- he's almost 26
- he's never averaged more than 1.8 tackles a game - doesn't work with our style

even ray or schneider when they got here were averaging 2 or 3 tackles a game (which both have since increased over 4). it really is required that a player coming to st kilda is a good tackler.

Why would we want 26-7 year old hacks like Peake or Mcmahon just because they are fast. If we want speed through a 1st rounder and player to get Pearce or a decent player. Taking Peake would just take a spot on out list which would be better used on someone else.
This time last year Farren Ray was no Farren Ray.
Ray was young and had talent. Plus he wanted to leave the Bulldogs had to get whatever they could. I doubt Freo would care if they lost Peake.
