Played a great game and I think his knockers honestly don't know what they're on about.
His tackle (on Lockyer?) in the 2nd quarter, directly after Milne had been done for holding the ball, changed the momentum of the contest.

I think it was actually Schneider who brought down Swan. But it was a fantastic chase and you're right - it did change the momentum a bit as rather than going inside 50, the ball got turned over and we kicked a goal pretty soon after (again it was Schneider).Quixote wrote:Played a great game and I think his knockers honestly don't know what they're on about.

Still, Eddy did his job and that's all he needs to do. Dal, Lenny, Gram, Joey et al will do the rest.

Agree, at the stoppages in our forward line, he dropped back and took Maxwell out of the contests. In the first quarter, Maxwell was destructive and Eddy did his job. Not talking about the others who could replace him, merely that he did what was required.St Fidelius wrote:Eddy was given a task today and that was primaly to be a forward tag on Maxwell...
It's not a role he would be accustomed to, but did a fair job IMO
Grammy also did a great defensive job, different to his normal game. Raph was far better up forward. Was far more confident.
