Thanks to the idiotic finals system, if we lose today, instead of playing the lowest ranked winner (ie. Brisbane), we would get shafted with Adelaide.
Win that and then we have to take on Geelong in the Prelims.
ie. this may as well be an Elimination Final.
So thanks Dimwit for F***-all reward for a 20 and 2 season.
TO bury your head in the sand and say "I didn't think about it" (as in a more sensible/fairer finals system) is plain coddswallop.
Most likely, and luckily for you, we will kill off the Pies and they can slog it out against Adelaide and all will be forgotten by some.
BUT.....
If the unthinkable happens, and we go down today, exepct HELL from me and few others on here

we'll win today - i've chucked a sickie from my final soccer game of the season (dead rubber - finals next week) to watch.
but the afl are numnuts - no 2 day advantage if the lions had played friday and the crows sat arvo - but instead they fixture the lions game against the wallabies test v springboks in brisbane, with the 3rd placed GC titans playing just down the highway in the nrl?
the wallabies drew 47,481, whilst at the gabba over 8,000 seats sat empty!

Why would we?Sainternist wrote:I agree. The previous system was better.
I'm delightted that we have advanced to a preliminary final, however, I'm not particularly excited about the prospect of spending another afternoon or evening in the company of C*llingw**d supporters.
They probably won't beat Craw definitely not Cats.
