Really happy he was in today, put in a big effort, justified his selection, finals are won with "hard at it types" and he is most deserving. Well done Bally.

I thought he was good. Hard and tough....you need that. He still can't kick over a jam tin, but he gets the pill in the clinches.

I reckon we simply look better with him in the side.

He played 50% of the game and had about as many contested possessions as Lenny. Very very happy with him.

Ball brings balance and while he wasn't outstanding that's not what he's about. He did what he does best for the team and will only get better through the finals. Another valuable contribution. Natural order restored.

For the amount of game time he was very serviceable - I am sure he will get even better.

It was ability to be in the right spot today, his hardness, his attack on the ball, doing the team thing, he knew what he had to do today and he did it well. It was pity that his two snaps failed to make the distance but he had a fair crack and that is what the club wants and his team mates.

He will be there in two weeks playing an important role again.

Well done Luke.

I would say a serviceable game - done the job - but don't get carried away!

However, I am sure that the next game he plays will be better - and that will do me!

Was there on the outer wing as a youngster flying the flag in '66 - still loyal, still passionate!
