McEvoy will very likely come straight back in if Gardy doesn't come up.Bardon Saint wrote:Source: Facebook

Yep, he can - if he's named emergency. They can change the emergency list when they name the team tomorrow with no penalty.plugger66 wrote:He cannot.bergholt wrote:McEvoy will very likely come straight back in if Gardy doesn't come up.Bardon Saint wrote:Source: Facebook

Yes but why would they do that unless MG gets injured tomorrow. I suggest they are very confident.bergholt wrote:Yep, he can - if he's named emergency. It's not so much the emergency list as the extended bench. They can bring in anyone they like up until tomorrow night when the 22 is set and the three emergencies are named. Then, only with a fine, can the lists be changed.bergholt wrote:....They can change the emergency list when they name the team tomorrow with no penalty.

From last week's team, the most likely. The final training session tomorrow will no doubt result in a solid work out to test the readiness of a few for the big game. If someone is going to do a hammy, best that it's in the last five minutes of training than the first five minutes of a game.HarveysDeciple wrote:Final changes I hope are:
Out: Macca, Eddy
In: Gardiner, Ball
I reckon if Max was going to play he'd be named on the field
No Rocca...no Max I'm thinking
Agree with HD..Ball and Gardy for Mac and Eddy
They have some young bodies in there...Wood is a beanpole so we need the big units Gardy and King to work him over at the bounces. Rapt Gardy is named
Mini to do a fwd tag on Shaw I reckon..CJ on Davis. IIRC last time Grammy ran with Thomas? If they are gonna do that I hope Grammys disposal hurts em more than last week. Collingwood might ave looked at the tape and decided to let him have 30 touches cos only 8 of them will hit a target.
Chipper on Medhurst again? Destroyed him in the final last year

Hm. That suggests that Raph is closer to going out than Zac is. This is the most obvious sign that Max won't play - Raph out and Max in would hurt backline run and be a serious mistake.thirty-seven!? wrote:Int (from): Luke Ball, Raphael Clarke, Sean Dempster, Robert Eddy, Michael Gardiner, Jarryn Geary, Max Hudghton

I am happy with that side/squad. Will leave a little guesswork for the Pies. I don't think Max will make it this week, but Zac will need to be on his game to keep him out.
Poor Big Ben, but his time will come, and I don't think that will be this week, named or not named.
All in all looks well balanced. Think it will be:
In: Ball, Gardiner
Out: Eddy, McEvoy
