Was a little surprised at these comments from Josh Fraser at training today from the AFL site...
"There has been a slight shift in the footy club in my time," Fraser said.
"In previous finals series we have hoped to win, we know our best is good enough and we hoped to play our best and win.
"Whereas I think we now know we have just got to turn up and get the job done."
Just turn up and get it done hey? We shall see...cocky as at Pie land...who have they beaten?? Can someone remind me?

Hmmm, well thats a typical eddiwood arrgant stament, hopfully we can remind him that you have to be good enough to actually get the job done, which they are notSainterman wrote:Was a little surprised at these comments from Josh Fraser at training today from the AFL site...

Haha! THAT is gold. AFL's 4th in contested ball (?) - us, versus the last (Collingwood)...they must be hoping the siren will blow to end the match just before they run through their banner then.Sainterman wrote:Was a little surprised at these comments from Josh Fraser at training today from the AFL site...

Well, all I can say is, they better not forget to turn up!

I'm massively pumped up for this game, now I'm about to explode I can't wait for this game and I can't wait to teach this mob a football lesson. Arrogant filth! C'mon Saints!"There has been a slight shift in the footy club in my time," Fraser said.

Think a few are reading the comment wrong
I can not see anything wrong with it.....
Don't hope ........turn up with the mindset to just get the job done...

Comes across a little arrogant i think. You have changed the wording to make it less so, perhaps he didnt mean it to come across the way it reads though.chook23 wrote:Sainterman wrote:Was a little surprised at these comments from Josh Fraser at training today from the AFL site...

Chook might be right, I can see an alternative meaning, but you'd wanna hope he's been misquoted or taken out of context...Collingwood's team banner has laid more tackles than the team itself this year, they'll need to play out of their skin to knock us off.Sainterman wrote:Comes across a little arrogant i think. Who cares what they say.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Not if it rains. The MCC informed Collingwood, that if it rained in the 24 hour period prior, they would have trained at Gosh's. Obviously trainning on a wet surface & with a game to follow the next day, the ground would be chopped up.plugger66 wrote:Sorry what does that mean. We are training there.
Well I dont know about Collingwood but we are training there tomorrow come rain hail or shine.Johnny Utah wrote:Not if it rains. So if it rains at 1pm and training is 2pm and all the players are getting ready at the ground they will be told to pack up and head home. No they will not.Johnny Utah wrote:If it rains, no.plugger66 wrote: Well I dont know about Collingwood but we are training there tomorrow come rain hail or shine.
