Who's Ralph?????? If you meant Raph, then I dont understand the question as they play two different roles in the side, Raph is a running, creative half back and Max is a dour stick to it defender who generally plays on the last line of defence. If Max comes in it has to be at the expense of Zac or Blakey
I'll assume you may not entirely understand the positions they play, this was from the Herald Sun today...here is a grab.

Zac Dawson's redemption story has became inextricably linked with Hudghton's heartbreak.
Dawson got his chance this year only when elevated off the rookie list to play in the absence of Hudghton, sidelined with a pre-season calf injury.
Although many ex-St Kilda players and officials can't see a Saints finals side without Hudghton, the evidence points to him being sidelined yet again.
Lyon yesterday conceded Dawson was taking Hudghton's spot, but said no one should criticise him for seizing his chance.
"What is it specifically (that has him in front of Max)? If you really drill down, Zac has probably taken his opportunity," Lyon said.
"Is he the one keeping Max out? Probably more than likely. Zac has played 20 games and Maxy has played seven.
"Max has played seven games injury-interrupted. League footy is about grabbing your chances, whether you are a rookie or a draftee.
"To Zac's credit, who could have pictured this?"

sorry about the speeling of raph but dont take that much notice of his name as i dont rate him at all he is not creative he is destructive , poor use of the football lets him down all the time , they need shuffel the side around to get maxxy back in there cause he is still our best back man
SAINTS FOR EVER
Did you read the above, Zac is in for Max? Perhaps you should change the thread title, because it is misleading if you are just wanting to highlight why you don't like a particular player.gosainters66 wrote:sorry about the speeling of raph but dont take that much notice of his name as i dont rate him at all he is not creative he is destructive , poor use of the football lets him down all the time , they need shuffel the side around to get maxxy back in there cause he is still our best back man

Are you kidding me. Raph easy. Even if Max is ready to play the question isn't if Raph should stay in but of the Cougar stays in which is a tough call anyway even then i side with the Cougar. Max is just unlucky again.

I am pretty sure he rang and spoke to KB on Raph being the worst St. Kilda player he has ever seen.Joffa 5 wrote:Do you ever call into SEN after games?gosainters66 wrote:sorry about the speeling of raph but dont take that much notice of his name as i dont rate him at all he is not creative he is destructive , poor use of the football lets him down all the time , they need shuffel the side around to get maxxy back in there cause he is still our best back man

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
