where did this come from nob?

edit
i awoke last night on the couch , to hearing ross the boss , say that ball and max will train with the vfl , as there is no place in our best side for them

a reasonable question although if they are needed they will be picked IMO.
whether max gets another game this year may be determined by how he fits in.
bally will come i at some point i reckon.
clearly RL is only focused on picking the best team each week with a view for the finals series.
henceforthly, i have the sneaking suspicion that jimmy gwilt will be left out this week.

it doesn't mean much really nobby.
bally is fit. fitter than he has been in three or four years as far as the OP is concerned.
the OP is something that he has had to manage, and has done so successfully.
having a break and playing in the VFL to keep his endurance up without going overboard like he did last year against port when he did the hammy all spells well for his availability.
i reckon RL rates him highly and just needs an excuse to pick him.

yesterday's open session meant nothing . a chance for some camera's to get vision and supporters to watch the team train.
wed and thursdays closed sessions will have more impact on selection and if bally and max play.

tuesdays session was just a recovery/skills work.
wed and thursday is when the nitty gritty starts.

gardiner is a certantity to play. tandem with king

ball and max are horses for courses selections.
depending on the collingwood matchup
expect ball and max to be included in the extended interchange bench on thursday night and then see what happens come saturday when final emergencies are named.

sandy are out of the finals so there is no secondary games

Not being familiar with training please excuse my ignorance. Does the vfl side always train an hour before the seniors, or was this just for yesterday.

just for yesterday.
all stkilda listed players train together . . .sometimes with the rookie listed players.

but there never really is a distinct separate training of AFL/VFL players

was a open session/media/supporter thing for tuesday.
real work starts today.

and sandy are out of VFL finals so they just had a run with saints

Yup, really could be one big red herring.... hope so.

But even if it aint, I'm sure Ross does have some sneaky moves up his sleeve he's been saving....

valid point

one feels that bally may have just been getting a run at sandy to keep his match-fitness up. now that they're no longer playing expect bally to get a run in the tommyguns before long. if not, it will be someone else. no-one, i repeat 'no-one' can question his integrity.

I wondered that myself, I am not sure it has ever been advertised that way before...

Thats why I asked cause I reckon Ross is playing games, I think we may see in L. Ball, M Gardiner

Luke Ball had 26 disposals last time we played collingwood I dont know who he played on though.

Think maybe Rossy went out of his way to show players not training with the group

But I have been wrong many times
