Fit Hayes set for Pies
ST KILDA midfielder Lenny Hayes says he will be fit to play in this week’s qualifying final against Collingwood.
Hayes caused a scare when he was seen hobbling late in Sunday’s game against Melbourne but he said he is a certain starter to take on the Magpies.

St Kilda midfielder, Lenny Hayes, admits he's really sore in the lead up to this weekend's qualifier against Collingwood. A clearly aggrieved Hayes looked miserable this afternoon at Linton street as he struggled to training on crutches with an icepack on his foot...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
