when booking tickets over the net for finals CHECK the Firewall STATUS on your work or home computer
that will either slow or block your access..
generally will only take a few minutes once you are in- depending on how specific you are going to be about placement.

happened to see this today in a like contained in a members email
http://www.saints.com.au/september%20sa ... fault.aspx
"we have been working with the AFL to develop a secondary offer to St Kilda members if our 11,500 social club members do not all take up their entitlement."
September Saint; What does this mean?
* To be eligible for this offer you must be an 11 or 16 game member for the 2009 season (and joined prior to June 30, 2009).
* An additional members priority group will be created that will give non-social club members the chance to go into a grand final ticket ballot. This priority group will be called ‘September Saint’
* The ballot will consist of tickets from the original members’ allocation that are not taken up by current social club members.
* Registering in this ballot will not guarantee you a position into the 2010 Social Club priority group, however if you are successful in obtaining a 2009 Grand Final ticket, you will be automatically added to the 2010 Social Club waiting list
* This ballot is for the 2009 Grand Final only and does not continue into 2010.
just thought someone might register
you never know what could happen

RE Standing room tickets
When you read the Grand Final letter sent yesterday arrangements are the same as last year
$3.30 to register for a grand final ticket
some of the tickets available are Standing room- If you DO NOT wish to have the option of being offered a standing room ticket
THEN when you register next Wednesday 9th you tick the box to say you will not accept a standing room ticket
if you are happy to stand- then don't tick that box ( and if you'd all like to do that it measn I am more likely to get a $245 ticket and a good seat )
when the random matching of seats and registrations takes place you will get on of the 4 options- standing, restricted viewing, $150 or $245
if you DO tick the NO STanding option
you will onl;y be offered restricted, or the other two prices.
