I woke this morning

with the most overwhelming sense of belief.

St Kilda has been loafing for a month waiting for this moment.

We are about to start up the steamroller.

Feel it in my waters.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

i woke up this afternnon thinking. . . . .
we finished 20-2 (only the 4th team in history to achive this feat)
we have no major injuries
we have coasted along for 4 weeks whilst other teams belted the crap out of each other.

we have taken the advantage of all the hard work and banking all those early wins and now the real season starts.
i can smell the september air - and im pumped for the saints and this finals series like ive never been before (even 91, 92, 97, )
this group of players now realise that they have a chance to create their own history and grab a hold of that cup for each other.
then they will have a bond amongst themselves that will never be broken.......

im quietly confident they will be there in the last saturday in september.
their opponent ? anyone of 4 teams i think.

we have proven that we are the best team all year . . . now is the time to reinforce that.

go saints 3-0 is all that matters now.

It's really weird, but the exact same thing happened to me this morning too. It's weird but it feels really good.

It's giving me goosebump rushes. It's almost a controlled anger. Fury on the cusp. So fired up I might give Dane Swan a call and go beat up a security guard with him.
