I would prefer him to have a week off after a scare like that. However, if Misson says he is right to play, he is right to play.
Personally, I worry about injuries right up until the final siren every week. We had such a bad run in 04-05 that the scars are still there. I would much rather they just forfeited the game tomorrow and went straight to the finals. However, that is NOT going to happen so in the fitness staff I trust.....

The emergencies in the other thread seem to indicate that he won't be a late withdrawal given they are all smalls. Would've thought they would have at least left Gwilt as an emergency if he was going to pull out.
Will be interesting to see if they leave two out of the sandy clash this afternoon. It's always a sure sign that someone is in doubt. E.g. They left Heyne and Armitage out of the Sandy team last week.

Even if his knee is 100% I would give him a rest to freshen up this week.
More importantly, a win next week gives the whole team a week off to freshen up.

The whole team has had the last two weeks off.joffaboy wrote:90% of players this time of year would be advised by doctors to have one or two weeks off.
Non story.
Didn't you watch them play.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
