Plan B

Post: # 803570Post ace »

Plan A is to win 3 finals in succession.
The first victim should be the Bulldogs unless they beat Collingwood by 22 points or more this weekend.
I would prefer to play the Bulldogs rather than Collingwood based on the most recent match against the Bulldogs.

Plan B only comes in play if by some misfortune the team finishing 4th flukes a win against the Saints.

Then the Saints must play the winner of the 5th versus 8th elimination final.
8th place will go to the winner of this week's match between Essendon and Hawthorn.
5th place will go to the winner of this week's match between Carlton and Adelaide.

My preference would be for Adelaide to finish 5th.
I think St Kilda showed recently it has the game to beat them.
I would also rather face Essendon than Hawthorn.
I think we recently saw Essendon's best and it was only the luck of one kick that gave them a win against a lazy St Kilda.

What are your preferences?

But plan A....Dogs, Cats, Pies...in that order is just so delicious to contemplate, that it is hard to think too seriously about a plan B

Plan A, coming off....beating Collingwood again, in the GF...would seriously help to ease 43 years of pain

Winning more premierships than them in 50 years would make it even better.

Assuming that the ladder stays as is:

Week 1 (QF) Bulldogs
Week 2 (PF) Adelaide
Week 3 (GF) Carlton

(Well, if we're dreamin', might as well go all the way!)
