Anyone see this?

Post: # 802656Post crackers35 »

As the umpires came back on for the second half a St.Kilda supporter near me shouted something at an umpire.

The umpire responded by turning around and making a talking gesture with his hand and a great big smirk on his face.

This is disgraceful behaviour from the umpire.

Anyone else see this?

Didn't see it, but certainly not surprising.

Still, probably time to move on from that game, bigger fish to fry...

i have had numerous chats to the umps when they come back at half time. once i was blown a kiss from one, somes times they just smiled at me but usually pretty good and dont react. its always good fun :D especially when one is a teacher at your school

I have no problem with gestures made in fun. That's really good to see.

But the way he did it seemed odd.

I have moved on from the game but I still would like to know more.

Glad you brought this up after you've moved on from the game.
