i've been tough in previous posts on both gram and clarke but from what i saw today, they were both very good contributors.

i know people have queries gram's % efficiency with his disposals, but his link play and running of the lines was quite impressive. as for clarke, his confidence seems to be improving greatly and with it his effective disposals. i liked his game today too.

Just looking forward to us having a real crack each week, and appreciating the younger talent coming through.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Apart from his kicking, I thought Gram played a great game. Provided the only run we had, found the ball, opened up massive opportunities time and again. If it weren't for him and Roo we wouldn't have been close. His kicking is majorly disappointing. But it was 50/50 yesterday, so it still adds up to a great contribution. I know he doesn't do the full repetoire, but why are people so ready to lynch him???
