Everyone go on a holiday
Afterall we can't win the flag anymore can we?
Some of you people make me sick.
No one will eat their own like a saints fan.
Would an Essendon fan be panicking like this if they were 19-2? No way, but our fans s*** themselves.
Yes, concerns, yes address them, but hold your nerve and don't panic.
Trust Ross and co, if we fail then dig the boots in........but we haven't failed yet.

It is fair to ask though
hence
Time to really step up a gear tomorrow and set the tone.
All players need to look at themselves and be honest.
Still feel numb...............
overload training myth or fact
resting players/team got ahead of itself flirting with form re the seven chages......
if the fitness staff convinced to rest did they get ahead of themselves
THE QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ANSWERED........

I like marshmellows
At the end of the day, North had a point to prove to their new coach many players playing for their careers.
Saints players playing for no injuries and taking their minds off the job at hand and thinking about finals. It's probably hard to get up for a game that has no bearing on ladder position.

have experienced plenty of success....
i can quite well understand the panic...we have a habit of avoiding success
and having a form slump at the end of the season doesn't give anyone any confidence that this is the year of the Saint....
This is a fan forum...it's a place for fans to vent..some weeks the playing group will be praised and some weeks they will be baked and this week it's the latter.............BIG DEAL...it means F*** ALL...get over it.....
Will we pick up a player in the SSP window

How many saints teams have you seen as good as this years? You know it's their, they may not find it again, but don't just assume they won't.
If you expect failure, you'll get it.

I'm feeling pretty low at the moment after todays pathetic result, but September hasn't begun yet, and I'm still keeping the faith that we'll be back and firing come the first week of finals.

the last 2 weeks have reminded people of the old StKilda....
nobody wants them to fail........they just don't want the team playing as badly as they have lately...especially when expectations were soaring...
hopefully they can beat Melbourne and get the season back on track....

Against a desperate Essendon playing for a finals berth on their home ground in front of home fans and against desperate North players playing for their footballing future in front of their new coachbobmurray wrote:and we have looked ordinary doing it...against ordinary opposition as well which is more to the point......Devilhead wrote:We have lost the last 2 games for a combined massive total of 7 points not 20 goalsbobmurray wrote: the last 2 weeks have reminded people of the old StKilda....
We lost by 2 points and 5 points - we are 1st position on the ladder - we cannot be moved from 1st postion on the ladder - we cannot drop down to 2nd on the ladder - we dont want injuries - we want to conserve players energy - we are minor premiers - we have our minds on the finals - rumours abound that we are on a heavy training load - being fit and healthy going into finals is our foremost priority
People have got to stop looking at the small picture as the bigger wider picture is damning
Carn the Saints!!!!!!

Most saints fans (including me) are not saying we carnt win but what we are saying & I think its pretty obvious this is not the right time to let teams get five this week & 7 goals last week start & think you can win . Momentum is a big thing & imo we have undone alot of our good work by playing as we have in the last few weeks. Lets just pray that this is a training cycle that has made them so lethargic. If Lyon has planned this & we go on & win the flag then I will look like a right idiot but winning the flag is my consuming passion every year & I dont know how long I can keep going & still stay half sane .

I have not said we can't win it, but I am stating fact.
We are losing the CONTESTED BALL, TACKLES AND CLEARANCES!
Win back them three areas and you will get yourself back in the hunt for glory.
You can not say that the past 2 weeks is not worrying you, its heartbreaking to think if this sort of football continues then the chances of winning what should be ours this year will vanish.
I trust Ross that he will get these guys bouncing back but as a St Kilda supporter you can't help have that sickening feeling.
I would say some of the reactions on here are because people are hurting and most of panicking.

I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

Yet we nearly won both games and probably should have - the fact that were able to comeback will give the playing group a huge boost in confidence knowing that they have the ability to overcome a large deficit - this never say die attitude is exactly what we need if we are to win the big one

Tell that to Geelong and the New England Patriots
A fit and healthy list going into finals is also a big thing
