is my mantra,
Shooting off too early, hardly that's what you do dodgy,
ALL I'm saying is this,
OUR club is now getting FAIR DINKUM, because we now have a genuine REAL McCoy coach and a professionally run football department!
Amateur hour is a thing of the past!
We have not won anything yet, but at least we are NOW on the right track!
So Rix was AA ruckman? Ferguson AA?
Our list was so good in 06 that it was coaching itself?
We were guaranteed to win the flag in 07?
Keeping Harves on the list in 07/08 was brilliant?
Umm, and if you're claiming that this is all you're saying....
"ALL I'm saying is this....OUR club is now getting FAIR DINKUM, because we now have a genuine REAL McCoy coach and a professionally run football department! "
You're either a liar or someone really is hacking your account and posting lots of stuff on your behalf.
The Rix stuff was all a joke, you know said in jest, for a laugh, a wind up,
doesn't surprise me that you took it seriously,
I never said Ferguson was AA or even potential AA, just wanted him to get an opportunity, that is all!
Our list coached itself for 5 years, not just 06!
The game plan was confirmed by McGuane in the conversation I had with him,
I put to him that not getting numbers behind the ball, with Blake in the ruck had cost us 3 games already ( after 9 rounds of 06 )
I, in particular referred to port when we lost by 4 points,
he replied
" We prefer to back our players" given that Thomas and McGuane are gamblers, that's hardly surprising,
I told him that was just DUMB,
he replied,
we only lost by 4 points,
I responded,
Yeah that's my point!
Even Peckett who had a strong relationship with Thomas, said after he retired that we'll never know if we'd had a more tactically astute coach whether we would have gone further in 2004!
Fact is the players were sent out there and told just to back themselves!
From Source, absolute FACT
In March ( 2006 ), someone closely affiliated with the club, and who I know, was lunching with ( St Kilda Player ), who told him that GT had lost the support of the leadership group and others. The reason given was that it was because he was clueless when it came to coaching. No tactics, just marketing-speak and then the players were sent out to the wolves.
At the time of the sacking, Riewoldt's reaction was not representative of many others. Note that you didn't hear or see this kind of carry-on from Max, Hamill, Lenny, Milne, either Fisher or just about anyone else. Most were surprised but that does not mean disappointed.
DO THE MATHS AND THE SQUARES ARE ALL ROOTED.
