Michael, do you have any contacts that would enable a Moorabbin Wing type block finals booking for any final bar the GF?

Wish I did DAC, but sadly not....the member bookings on the Mon-Tues however are done so that each club has certain bays.

The best I can recall from last year relevant to the Great Southern Stand is....

PREMIUM: ground level (M) at the back (undercover) , all of 2 or 3 bays of ground level right on the Wing and all the mid-level (Level N) of seating

PRIME: Remainder of ground level seating and the front 6-8 rows of the top deck (Q)

STANDARD: Remainder of top deck and the restricted viewing areas behind the cheer squad

I reckon the other stands would be similar.

general has stayed the same prime has gone up , so you also know you have no say in which you get either , when we got to the GF it was register that is fine and you have to give card details and you have to have enough money in back too to cover from the min to the max price ticket so remember you also can not chose where you sit they do the seating arrangements too and if a group wants to sit together the thing goes like this if 1 is not allocated a seat then the whole group is out not just the 1 that did not make the ballet sadly unless you have a membership that guarantees you GF tickets if you make it and you whole group has same ticket then that will be fine but if you with the guaranteed GF ticket wants to sit with normal membership members you waver that guaranteed GF ticket and what i said before applies if all get in fine if 1 does not then all don't

The AFL are a backwoods organisation sometimes

They release the prices for the 3 price levels for the finals..last week..and STILL theres no sign of a plan of the G showing you where each price level is

Meanwhile the MCG website has all the seating setails, including maps, for the entire 09/10 cricket season...tests, 20/20, ODI's..the lot

Breathtaking

IF we make the last week, and choose our prefered price seat as social club members, will we likely be sitting with Saints supporters ?

the only choice is standing option as possible offer- You can say 'no I wont' stand"
but you can't- or couldn'd last year- choose which price range after that

Yep..last year you had to agree to potentially pay the top price..but still not know where you'd end up.

You would think with the 11,500 cap this year that if we make it the standing room wouldnt be a factor..unless the 11,500 tix ARENT ALL SEATS!!!!!!

Surely the club allocation would be in some sort of block seating, wouldnt it.

My choice (if I had one) would be mid-level N which of course is premium but it's going to my first GF since 1971 and the first ever for Mrs Fid and Jnr

prob is you do not get the choice of where to sit that just put you where they put you when you register you have to give card details make sure you have enough to pay for all prices cause that is also what happens you do not get a choice at price either i think the box for standing room is there if you are not successful on reserve do you mind standing room option .

Make no mistake. At the GF all level 2 goes to chardonay set. Real supporters go to top of Southern stand. Bring your binoculars IF you are lucky enough to get a seat at all.
